For Sabrina and Daphne Grimm, life hasn’t been a fairytale. After the mysterious disappearance of their parents, they go to live with their grandmother who tells them about their ancestors - the Brothers Grimm, whose classic fairy tales are actually a history book that documents magical mischief. The girls must now be the fairytale detectives. Their first case is a roller-coaster ride of an adventure to stop a giant from destroying their new home town.
