Each book in the series contains 40 lesson plans. It aims to provide classroom teachers and dance specialists with a fresh fun and easy program that provides experiences in performing, creating, responding. And it is also to develop skills in, and understanding of the elements of dance - action (the movement), space (levels, shapes, personal space, performance space, floor patterns), time (tempo), energy (movement qualities, force, beat, rhythm), form (phrase, transition, round, canon, choreographic device). The lesson plans develop gradually to introduce new challenges progressively through the units of work.
