Focus Comprehension Skill : COMPARE AND CONTRAST - Comparing and contrasting the features, events, and other content of a text involves the identification of similarities and differences.Focus Comprehension Skill : FACT AND OPINION - fact is what is true and an opinion is what someone believes. Opinions often have signal words such as think and believe. Sometimes an adjective, especially a superlative, indicates an opinion.
Focus Comprehension Skill : CAUSE AND EFFECT - an effect is what happened or what the situation is, and a cause is why it happened or why it is so. An effect can have several causes and a cause may have several effects. When an effect becomes the cause of another effect, it is called a chain reaction.
