The author has adapted the traditional tale of ‘Chicken Little’ and ‘Henny Penny’ and retold it with a New Zealand twist. Wacko Kakapo, Peewee Kiwi, Go-Getter Weta and friends set off to tell Tane Mahuta that the sky is falling. But then they all fall into the clutches of Gotta-Gloat Stoat ... and have to use their wits to escape. A wonderful read-aloud.
