Different types of reading matter demand different strategies. Headwork is designed to help children read with understanding. The subjects covered are varied, often humorous, and range from science fiction to everyday scenes. On each page there is a problem to be solved using such skills as matching, comparing, sequencing, classifying, assessing evidence, and interpreting charts and maps.
