Building Science Concepts is a series designed to support teachers of NZ children at curriculum levels 1-4. The books provide a structured approach for the teaching of science concepts. Each book is based around a theme and includes information and activities linked to the strands and achievement objective aims of Science in the New Zealand Curriculum. Animal Life Histories focuses on the process of growth and change that all animals undergo in their journey from fertilised egg to adulthood.
