Scholastic Performance Plays use a workshop approach to ‘doing’ plays and take teachers and children step-by-step through the process, from warm-ups and rehearsals to performance. This book contains a photocopiable playscript, planned workshops, production support notes with ideas for auditions, staging, props, costumes and make-up, and follow-up literacy activities. This is a modern fairy tale with all the familiar ingredients: witches, goblins, a hero, a wicked family and a queen, for a cast of 25-30 and running for about 30 minutes.
