Notes

This series provides a wealth of ideas for teaching and assessing numeracy. Each unit provides a ready to use photocopiable assessment sheet for students to complete after the learning and development of each numeracy skill. Each unit begins by identifying the skill; learning the skill; developing the skill; and assessing the skill. Students can also extend the skill or reinforce the skill. Skills include counting to 20; counting in twos, threes, fours and fives; number names from zero to twenty; tens and ones; more and less; counting in tens; largest and smallest; between; ordinal numbers and ordering; estimating; fractions; counting on; taking away; adding; subtracting; pairs to ten; multiplying by 2; dividing by 2.
