KidPix is based on a drawing programme, but provides many opportunities for creativity across all curriculum areas. The programme can be introduced easily to a class, and children should be encouraged to explore how the various tools work. It can be used as a presentation tool for units of classroom study, and later, sound and video can be added, and children can produce animations to be incorporated into the slideshow component for 3D presentation of work.
