Because his father can't bring himself to tell Chris the truth about where babies come from he finds that the cabbage patch has the proof! Chris finds a baby in the cabbage patch, a green baby with a pointy chin and has to look after it. The trouble is when the baby is separated from Chris it stops breathing and turns purple. How is an eight year old boy to cope?
