The Figure it Out Series supports “Mathematics in the New Zealand Curriculum” and supplements existing school mathematics programmes. This book is one in a series for levels 3-4. There is one booklet for each content strand, one on basic facts, and one cross-strand theme booklet. There is also a booklet with Answers and Teachers’ Notes available. Statistics presents exercises, activities and games designed to consolidate students’ understanding of statistical concepts, including gathering information, presenting and interpreting data, and probability.
