The Figure it Out series supports “Mathematics in the New Zealand Curriculum” and supplements existing school mathematics programmes. This book is one of a series for levels 2-3. There is one booklet for each content strand, one on basic facts, and one cross-strand theme booklet. There is also a booklet with answers and teacher’s notes available. This book provides exercises, activities and games based around the theme of a school gala day, and intended to improve students’ maths skills with links to the Numeracy project and Beginning School Mathematics.
