Videocassette to accompany Teacher’s guide . A resource to help teachers of year 1-10 students to implement the dance discipline of The Arts in the New Zealand Curriculum. The resource consists of two separate video programmes and an accompanying booklet. Programme 1 is for teachers of year 1-6 classes and programme 2 is for teachers of year 7-10 classes. Video includes extensive footage of dance in the classroom filmed in a wide range of school settings. Shows how student’s understanding and skills in dance develop over time and how the same strands of learning can be explores, with varying degrees of complexity, in different situations and with students at different levels.
