When Parroty is granted a wish by Big Brother Eagle, a new boy arrives at Gareth’s school. His name is Peter Perrot. Although he sometimes behaves a little strangely, everyone soon likes Peter and even the teachers have to admit he is one of the happiest boys they have ever met. Meanwhile, Gareth’s pet parrot has gone missing from the school aviary. When Dad suggests he ask Peter if he has seen him, Gareth makes a very interesting discovery.
