The Figure it Out series supports “Mathematics in the New Zealand Curriculum” and supplements existing school mathematics programmes. This book is one of a series for levels 2-3. There is one booklet for each content strand, one on basic facts, and one cross-strand theme booklet. There is also a booklet with answers and teacher’s notes available. This book provides exercises, activities and games for students to practice multiplication, and to develop strategies for solving problems using arithmetic with links to the Numeracy project and Beginning School Mathematics.
