Activities designed to provide children with opportunities to practice their spelling skills, either in class or as part of weekly homework activities. Exercises are graded for two levels of diificulty. Activities focus on developing orthographic (spelling patterns) and morphological (rules and conventions) knowledge. Activities cover adding endings; words ending in “y”; compound words; ‘oy’ and ‘oi’ in words; ‘k’ sounds in words; soft’c’ and soft ‘g’; words with an ‘il’ sound; silent letters; prefixes; suffixes.
