When Miss Primrose leaves some uninteresting flower bulbs on the windowsill to plant later, first the dog, then the cat and the hen play with them. As a result Miss Primrose loses them. It is not until next spring that the Miss Primrose is in for a surprise when the bulbs show their true nature.
