Early Words [BOOK + DVD] Learning the first reading words accurately and fluently

Spraggon, Louise

Notes
This is a BOOK with a DVD inside. It is a complete package with detailed instructions, comprehensive activities, and regular assessment as well as the DVD which shows how the lessons are taught. As the lesson only takes five minutes each day, it means that a number of children can be taught very inexpensively. This book will help you teach your pupil how to learn and recall quickly a basic reading vocabulary of high frequency words. These words, often commonly referred to as “sight words”, make up a high percentage of all reading. In fact, there are only 100 words that make up half of all reading. In Early Words, a basic vocabulary of 35 common words is learnt (in other words; the words that are most useful to learn first).
