Notes

There are four books in the series, and they offer creative writing ideas and topics for emergent through to independent readers, they explore poetic devices and formats and set out one-off and cross-curricular poetry sessions. This is the first book in the series and the activities provided allow children to hone their writing and reading skills, and also to explore themselves and their world by exercising their powers of observation, creativity and imagination.
