These books are intended to support levels 1 and 2 of the recently launched Te Aho Arataki Marau mo te Ako i Te Reo Maori - Kura Auraki / Curriculum Guidelines for Teaching and Learning Te Reo Maori in English-medium Schools. They are suitable for use with junior tamariki who are beginning to use te reo Maori. The teacher notes include translations of the text, links to the Curriculum Guidelines, lesson ideas and activities, assessment help and other useful information.
