Activities in this package promote the development and extension of “thinking” strategies such as brainstorming, problem reversal. lateral thinking and forced analogies. The tasks are designed to enhance the development of cognitive and affective processes such as risk taking, applied imagination, originality, curiosity, flexibility and elaboration. In each book, half of the activities directly relate to pages in the individual resource book and the remaining
activities require students to research the theme on the internet using carefully selected websites for the students.
