Skye is very attached to Toffee, the pony she rides at her riding for disabled classes. So she is very upset when she learns that Toffee is considered too old to ride any more and is destined for a pet food factory. She writes to her Nan with the terrible news, but with Nan's advice and help from her school and friends, Skye sets up a campaign to save Toffee.
