One snowy day Shelley the tortoise leaves her cosy bed to find out what winter is like. The other animals laugh and think it is ridiculous that a tortoise is out in winter. But Shelley plods on through the snow, as it grows colder and colder ... A playful, light-hearted story about hibernation.
