Meet eight-year-old, one-of-a-kind, ultra-fabulous Ruby Booker! I am Ruby Booker, and here are some things you know abut me - I am in third grade, nobody, but nobody sings like me, I have an iguana named Lady Love, and my most favourite absolicious colour is purple! Ruby is tired of living in the shadows of her three older brothers. It’s her first day at Hope Road Academy, where all her brothers already go. She says she is her own Booker, and she has plans to make a name for herself! Things don’t go according to her plan, but with nerve and verve Ruby is going to make sure everyone knows her name!
