Can you imagine living on a rubbish dump, somewhere between the big city and the white-topped mountains? Mia lived here in Chile with her mama, and her papa, in a house made from whatever they could find. Her papa dreams of being able to build a house of bricks one day. One day her father brought her a puppy, which she called Poco because he was so small. When he ran away she travelled far up into the mountains looking for him. There she found some white mountain flowers, growing under the stars. She planted them in her village, where they bloomed and spread all over the dumps. When she decided to sell the flowers in the city, people would ask where they come from, and tells them ‘the stars’.
