The Figure it Out Series supports “Mathematics in the New Zealand Curriculum” and supplements existing school mathematics programmes. This book is one in a series for level 4 students. There is also a booklet with answers and teacher’s notes available. It will help you to think mathematically and use different ways to find solutions. There are many ways to find solutions, including working by yourself or with others, trying different strategies, and applying problem-solving skills. This book provides exercises for these levels with links to the Numeracy project and Beginning School Mathematics.
