Flo’s dog, Ebb, loved to sit in the bow of their small boat. It was her favorite spot. But one day she heard a flapping noise - and there sat a bird, right in her spot. Flo giggled, as the bird made a noise, like she wanted to be friends. Ebb growled. Even Granny liked Bird, and fed her Ebb’s tidbits. As the days passed, Ebb got grumpier and grumpier.
